Why Is Cashmere So Expensive?

To withstand the extremely cold climate, cashmere goats have an undercoat of downy wool.

Cashmere is combed from this super soft & warm layer of undercoat. Each goat may only produce 10 to 15 ounces of fine cashmere, after separating out unwanted long hairs and cleaning. You can see why cashmere is so treasured.

Afforable Cashmere:

We work directly with the mill located in Inner Mongolia and cut out the middle man, so our cashmere throws are more affordable than those in retail stores.
